Bridging the Military-Civilian Divide

Vietnam Veterans of America, Pinellas

Vietnam Veterans of America founding principle: “Never Again will one generation of veterans abandon antoher.” The VVA is the only national Vietnam veterans organization with a congressional charter, founded in 1978, and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families. VVA was founded in 1978 and is a not-for-profit corporation and is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(19). The goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.

The Pinellas Chapter 522 of Vietnam Veterans of America helps foster, encourage and promote the improvement of the condition of Vietnam veterans. This organization holds regular meetings and social events, takes part in community service and veterans outreach and provides a link to a copy of the Vietnam Pocket Guide . For more information, contact chapter president Mike Bousher.
