Goals and Mission

The overall chapter goal, or vision of how we can be as Americans, is a peaceful and just society.

In seeking to be a voice and resource for peace and justice, our primary objectives towards achieving this goal are to:
•Develop our collective abilities to effectively achieve a more peaceful and just society.
•Build a popular base and local networks to actively further peace and justice, including a public consciousness where people actively consider peaceful alternatives in resolving conflicts and ask critical questions about military options.
•Advocate political policies where our society seeks peaceful solutions in international relations that are beneficial to all parties involved.

We have also defined our chapter mission as:

As veterans who have served our country with honor and having taking an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America, we continue to serve to realize an America dedicated to peace and justice. Using nonviolent means, we promote positive alternatives to conflicts that benefits all parties, and a society that reflects the best we can be as human beings.
